Deshawn Singleton scored his 1000th career point for the men's basketball team on Saturday in the Golden Dome. The game was eventually won by the Raiders over Stockton by a final score of 64-53.

Earlier in the week the Raiders and Ramapo put on an offensive exhibition that was won by the Raiders 98-71. There are only four games remaining in the regular season, and the Raiders would like to create some separation between themselves and New Jersey City University as playoff time approaches.

This week they play bottom feeder Montclair on the road. They Raiders will then return to the Golden Dome to take on NJCU in a game with serious playoff implications. That game starts at 8pm.

Women's Basketball

For the women's team, every game is a playoff game if they want to continue playing three weeks from now. Losers of six straight, they need to go on a roll in their last six games to have any shot at the playoffs.

They continue their fight against Montclair on the road on Wednesday. They will then take on NJCU in the Golden Dome on Saturday at 6pm.

Indoor Track and Field

Among 13 schools, the men's indoor track team finished in ninth place, and the women finished in eighth place out of 12 schools in the Thompson Invitational in Delaware. Their next meet is the New Balance Invitational at the NYC Armory on Feb 5-6.
